Manager, Sales Excellence – Job Description

The purpose of the Manager of Sales Excellence role is to assist our Client Growth organization and ensure best in class services and insights related to the GTM process for Medical Solutions. To deliver on the strategy vision of Client Growth, this role requires cross-divisional partnerships. This is a Sales support position and is considered “exempt”. If overtime hours are worked, there is not additional pay for overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support of Client Relations Manager (CRM) on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure Leads, Opportunity and Quote pipelines are up to date.
  • Ensure Accounts and Territory Tables are assigned to the correct Sales partner.
  • Ensure databases are appropriately communicating with CRM.
  • Design and change workflows, reports, dashboards, database fields and screens and work with internal teams to see to completion.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and drive the organization to achieve maximum optimization of CRM platform.
  • Respond in a timely fashion to end user’s needs, evaluate/resolve support tickets relating to business applications and general system issues.
  • Keep abreast of new features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist in CRM/sales tools software testing.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
  • Track, Analyze, and Present KPIs including Pipeline Growth, Market Share Reports, Participation and win/loss rates, and quota attainment and identify individual performance areas for improvement.
  • Present Monthly and Quarterly progress reports to stakeholders with actionable sales goals.
  • Set up dashboards and reports, in CRM, to track sales operations and cross-functional efficiencies, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, build, and manage additional non-CRM sales tools and systems that enable efficient sales and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to define lead qualification process and evaluate campaign performance.
  • Partner with Tech to identify prioritization and planning on projects.
  • Works with team and other stakeholders to gather user stories.
  • Maintain existing HR reporting relationship to achieve desired tasks for Client Growth.
  • Responsible for managing projects and initiatives for the Client Growth team. Will need to work cross functionally.
  • Responsible for working with analytical tools such as Definitive Healthcare, Dynamics CRM.
  • Ad Hoc sales reporting as needed.
  • Grow and manage a small team of individual contributors.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with Consultative Sales Cycles that typically last 90 days or more
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales or Sales support, like Sales training, Sales enablement, or learning and development
  • Must demonstrate ability to work with minimal direction
  • Excellent computer skills including MS office experience, including solid skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to navigate per diem software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Internet research capabilities and skills
  • Exceptional team player, skilled in building relationships with others within and outside of the team
  • Deadline motivated, with solid multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and find solutions
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to stay on task with minimal direction

Preferences:

  • Minimum one year healthcare compliance experience preferred
  • Experience with mentoring or leading a team is preferred
  • Statistics background or knowledge is a plus
